Dr. Kubiak’s research interests involve the electrochemical reduction of CO2, catalysis, mechanistic inorganic chemistry, and electron transfer chemistry.

Within JCAP, Dr. Kubiak’s research centers around the electrochemical reduction of CO2, including the discovery of new materials for the selective and efficient reduction of CO2 to more highly reduced species, especially methanol, as well as promoters and co-catalysts for the reduction of CO2.
